I am passionate about functional art, usability, and simplification. I really enjoy replacing words with images and the challenge of simplifying complex concepts with graphics or images. My favorite projects include a little digital editing with a good layout design. While my portfolio includes everything from medical illustration to stage backdrops & costumes, I can also get excited about doing a good, simple newsletter layout or catalog.

Recently found a great site that caters to freelancers - www.odesk.com. Took some of their tests - great way to let folks know YOU know what you're doing! Looking for more similar sites and tests ... in particular for the Graphics Design field. Anybody have other sources?
