A: You need an account to use Jobvana.com so all registered users benefit from the security and safety features we provide, such as sending and receiving private email communications from other Jobvana users and preventing spam and other unsolicited communications. Q: What do you mean by "social marketplace"?
A: An online 'friendly' venue that helps build relationships, trust and fulfillment by working with people you know, doing the things you love to do. Services are a very social experience and we want to assist in that process.
Q: I'm worried about spam. Will Jobvana spam my friends and me?
A: No, we take communication with your connections very seriously. We also give users the ability to set their mailing preferences.
Q: Do I need to create a profile if I am just using the site to search for services?
A: Yes and No. You can select JUST BROWSING and you will not need to create a full profile with an offering. But you will still need to join the site to obtain detailed information and interact with service providers. Note: You will want to add your contacts to the site to better assist you in identifying quality providers.

Q: What happens when I deactivate my account?
A: You are removed from the site. Be sure to print out your account history for your records prior to deactivating your account. Before deactivating your account it would be helpful if gave us a call and let us know why you are no longer choosing to use our service. Thanks!
